What is the best way to travel to Cambodia?

I plan to go to Cambodia for a vacation this coming June. I would like to know if anyone can help me as to what is the best border for me to cross to get there? I originally wanted to cross to Cambodia from Thailand but I am worried that I might get stuck at the Thailand airport.
The other thing that I’m considering is crossing the border from Vietnam to Cambodia. If I do this, should I cross from Saigon or should I cross the border from Hanoi? Any additional details and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
I am going to Bangkok on 6th April and I will go to Cambodia on 30th April to 5th May 2009. I have made all travel and stay arrangements etc nicely through net without going any where. Even Cambodia visa I got within 10 mins of applying on line, it is called e-visa.

Most people just bus it into Cambodia. The bus company will handle your visas for you at the border. From Vietnam I would go from HCMC. I have done it a few times and its easy and quick. Cheap too. the trip from Thailand is similar. If you give me your email I will send you a cheat sheet for Cambodia that will help you out.

If you don’t feel like going to Cambodia from Thailand you can get cheap Airasia tickets from KL Malaysia to Phenom Phen.
Saigon would be the closest major Vietnamese city to travel overland from, Hanoi is in the north.
