Thanks for the comment. I didn’t see Cu Chi tunels, they are like way outside of Ho Chi Minh City. I was in HCMC for oly 4 days, I regret it, my cousin only showed me around the city and the foods. Yeah! there are many beautiful hotels, you just have to know where to find it, unfortunately I don’t know any directions or place to give you, I am sorry. Good luck on your trip and don’t forget when you want to buy something on the streets ALWAYS BARGAIN for 20 to 50 per cent off.

Escellent video! We are headed to Ho Chi Minh on Dec, 18th this year. We will only stay 3 to 4 days before we head out to the Philippines. It seems there are many sights right around the city. Did you get a chance to see Cu Chi tunnels? Many hotels in Ho Chi Minh? especially around the airport? Anyway nice video. I plan on taking a boatload of pictures and video.
    Thanks

  8. For real, …
For real, Vietnamese people are nice with us, Viet Kieu, because we are willing to pay anything higher than the average of them would do. Some are kinda begging, cheating on us as tourists. They would look at us as a piece of if they know that we are broke. I don t blame on them, the average Vietnamese still has a very low standard of living as you said.

  9. Yeah I would, if I …
Yeah I would, if I can find a place to live and a good paying job, right now prices are going up now, houses are worth more than they were before. There is no point in buying a house(good one close to the street,I don’t like houses that are deep inside its dangerous)there without a good job. My parents don’t have anything in Vn, we lost it all to come here. When I came back it was wonderful, but my mom said that standard of living is low, and we were just visiting that’s why everybody was nice

  10. Would you return …
Would you return back to VN and live there? I have been living in Canada for almost 20 years. Last year, I went back for vacation. It was so great. I visited 9 major cities in VN from the north to the south. Saigon city is a place to have fun. Ha long and Sapa are the most beautiful places to visit. Da Nang is a great place to live.

  11. I guess the person …
I guess the person is a rich foreigner or mafia or a rich family who has a company. When I came back, they arrested a mafia member he had three cars a suv, a BMW and a very fast British car (performance might equal Porshe 911). In his house they found many bags of drugs and a lot of guns and later I found out that he lived a few blocks away.

  13. I left Vietnam in …
I left Vietnam in 1998, so it’s like 10 years. They are building new roads, malls, and a lot of houses. The thing is the road is shared with bicycles and scooters so you cannot really drive fast, maybe 40 miles tops. There is no point of buying BMWs, Lexus, Audis (fast cars) in there. :)
