Dengue Fever Protection on Your Vietnam Vacation

Mosquito protection, especially, is a must when visiting tropical regions such as South-East Asia. I’ve just found an article on Earth Times that advocates Dengue fever protection for your tropical Vietnam vacation. The article notes that:
“Cases of dengue fever are on the rise at many vacation destinations, Tomas Jelinek, scientific director for the CRM, told the German News Agency dpa. There are 24 times more cases in Vietnam than in 2008, for example. Other countries in South-East Asia are also “massively affected.”"
The German Centre for Travel Medicine warns that:
“Because dengue fever is on the advance in so many tropical countries, mosquito protection is a must when travelling in those regions [...].The danger is particularly acute over the winter holidays, when people turn their thoughts to warmer climates. Precautions are especially important in South America, northern Australia, South Asia and especially South-East Asia.”
