I just heard a story of someone who travel to Cambodia from Saigon by car, but he said that he was very tired because the road quality was bad ^_^ Not sure about the documents, sorry.

I’m not 1000% sure on this one because I did it by car 10 years ago and I forget things as I get older (Mad Cow is a biatch)…
You will need your passport, ownership papers proving the motorbike belongs to you, Cambodian visa and your Vietnam entry / exit card.
Do NOT bring a lot of cash with you because it IS a very dangerous trek. More so in Cambodia than in Vietnam.

The chances of getting a Vietnam registered scooter passed the border are next to Nil. Yes you will see lots VN numbers on the Cambodia side near the border but how they do it, I just don’t know.
